Popular actress,
Yvonne Okoro was on March 30, honoured
in Accra at the 2012 Nigeria Excellence Award. The actress received the
Distinguished Personality Award, at a ceremony, which took place at La
Palm Beach Hotel. The ceremony was chaired by Nigeria’s High
Commissioner to Ghana, Ambassador Musiliu Obanikoro.
The award was given to the actress in recognition of her acting skills,
and her contribution to the African movie industry. The beautiful and
talented actress has also been nominated for the AMAA award for
Best Actress in a Leading Role.
